Alpi Di Cusna (Febbio) 1,203m - 2,063m. Located in the community of Villa Minozzo, boasts the highest slopes in the Appenines and has ski lifts which take skiers up to 2,063m. With three chair lifts and three cable lifts Febbio caters for 4,500 skiers per hour and has 12km of ski runs. You will also find 5km of cross country skiing and ski schools for beginners.

Appenina (Civago) 1,115m - 1,657m. A popular winter sport resort offering modern facilities and lots of excellent hotels. There are 3 cable lifts and the capacity for 1,720 skiers per hour taking advantage of the 13km ski runs.

Cerreto Laghi 350m - 890m is located around a glacial Appenine lake which dates back to the Ice Age. With state of the art lifts, the resort also is home to a modern ice ring with a capacity for 3,000 skaters. 5 chair lifts and three cable lifts mean you can take advantage of the 20km of ski runs.

Abetone - with 70km of slopes and 25 lifts, this was the home of some of the great champions of the past - Zeno Colo, Celina Seghi and Vittorio Chierroni. Abetone is usually snow capped right up until the end of April and is the best equipped and most comfortable ski resort in the area, offering mor than 30 slopes plus 4 country loops.

Ospitaletto 1,135m - 1,582m is only a small but tranquil ski resort close to Ligonchio and less than 10km from Tuscany. Famous for its hospitality, Ospitaletto was once the resting place for pilgrims travelling through the region. With 3 cable lifts and the capacity for 1,900 skiers per hour it's worth a visit.

Sestola has 50km of slopes which are constantly covered in snow. Has ideal off slope area for snowboarders, trails for cross country and an Olympic ice rink nearby. Also offers facilities for summer sports such as tennis, football, swimming, mountain biking, horse riding etc.

Pratizzano is the undisputed capital for cross country skiing. One of the resorts that specialises purely in cross country.
